FAQ

Quick answers to common questions

How does AutoGraw work?

AutoGraw runs inside McGraw Hill Connect through Tampermonkey. On supported SmartBook and EZTO assignments, it reads the current question, gets an answer through AutoGraw's backend, fills it in, and can automatically submit and move to the next question. That turns repetitive assignments into a mostly hands-off process and can save hours of clicking and searching.

What does Hide Tab Switching do?

Hide Tab Switching blocks supported McGraw Hill pages from receiving the normal browser focus and visibility events created when you leave the assignment tab. It is designed for regular Connect pages; monitored exams and third-party proctoring software require the separate macOS Proctor Compatibility add-on. No browser tool can honestly guarantee that every platform or instructor-visible activity is undetectable.

How do I receive access?

After checkout, answer the short “How did you hear about AutoGraw?” question and your license key appears immediately. The same key and download instructions are also emailed to you. Install the script with Tampermonkey, open the AutoGraw account tab, and redeem the key.

What browsers are supported?

AutoGraw works through Tampermonkey on desktop Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, and other Chromium-based browsers. The optional Proctor Compatibility add-on requires an Apple-silicon Mac running macOS 13 or newer.

Do you offer any refunds?

Purchases are final except where required by law. Canceling Monthly stops future renewals, but does not refund the current period. See our Refund Policy for details.

How much time can AutoGraw save?

It depends on the assignment length, question type, answer delay, and how often manual review is needed. For fully supported assignments, Auto Answers, Auto Submit, and Auto Advance handle the repetitive question flow without requiring you to search and click through every step yourself—often reducing hours of routine work to a much shorter automated run.

Is AutoGraw safe to use?

AutoGraw does not collect McGraw Hill passwords, grades, submissions, or academic records. We process limited purchase, device, support, and analytics data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Why can't I see the AutoGraw menu?

Make sure you're on a McGraw Hill page and the extension is enabled. The menu appears when you're in a quiz or assignment. If issues persist, try reloading the page or reinstalling the extension.

How do I set up Discord Logging?

Discord logging lets you save quiz questions to a Discord channel. You'll need to create a Discord webhook URL and paste it in the AutoGraw settings. Full instructions are provided in the extension.

Why isn't Auto Answers working?

Turn on Auto Answers while a supported SmartBook or EZTO assignment is open. AutoGraw reads the current question, requests an answer through its secure backend, and fills it in. No separate AI website tab is required. Unsupported question layouts pause for manual input when Manual Fallback is enabled.

How do Auto Submit and Auto Advance work?

Auto Submit confirms the filled answer after your selected delay, and Auto Advance presses Next Question after its own delay. Both controls include Immediately (0 seconds). Turn either option off if you want to review or continue manually.

What does Text Unlocker do?

Text Unlocker restores normal text selection, copying, cutting, and the right-click menu when a supported course page blocks those browser actions. It removes page-level selection restrictions; it does not unlock paid, encrypted, or unavailable course content.

What is the Automation HUD?

The Automation HUD is a compact Minecraft-style panel in the top-left corner. It shows whether AutoGraw is scanning, answering, applying, submitting, or advancing, plus the number of questions completed in the current page session. It is enabled by default, can be collapsed from its header, and can be turned off in the AutoGraw menu.
